Anyway, since I recently had to calculate the dimensions for a star shaped wooden frame I quickly wrote a small HTML+JS tool to visualize how the proportions would look like. There are probably another zillion of websites doing the exact same. But nevertheless I uploaded it to Github in case my script is exactly the one someone is looking for: https://github.com/mpflanzer/Star-Frame-Visualizer. And via Github Pages the HTML can directly be used from the repository which is great for a live demo. Even better, for all the lazy people out there I also create a new subdomain which forwards to the Github demo: http://sfv.pflanzer.eu
